What 45 minutes of air time actually gives you
The 45-minute air-time window is the sweet spot for a NYC sightseeing flight. Long enough to fly the full Hudson River corridor at a relaxed pace, hold a position over the Statue of Liberty for photos, swing past the Freedom Tower at the right angle, and still have time to see the Midtown skyline and Central Park from above. Shorter tours skip pieces. Longer tours add cost without proportional value.
The route, in order
Takeoff from Linden Airport (KLDJ)
Linden is a regional reliever airport just west of the harbor. We take off, climb to 1,500 feet, and turn northeast toward the Hudson River exclusion.
The Statue of Liberty
Roughly 10 minutes into the flight. We make the closest legal approach at the Hudson River exclusion altitudes. Camera ready on the left side.
Lower Manhattan
The Freedom Tower, the Battery, the southern tip of Manhattan with the lower skyline in frame. The Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge across the East River to your right.
Midtown skyline
The Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Midtown spine. Best angles are mid-morning when the sun catches the glass.
Central Park
The full green rectangle from above. The Reservoir, the Great Lawn, the Ramble. Easy to spot from 1,500 feet.
Return to Linden
Cross back over the Hudson, descend, land at KLDJ. Total elapsed time at the airport: about an hour from arrival to departure.

Best time to book
Morning slots have the most reliable weather. Mid-afternoon slots have the most sunlight on the building facades. Late afternoon and early evening slots have the best golden-hour light. We're available 7 days a week, weather permitting.
